Duck Question

Hello. What do you all think about my duck sleeping in the coop at night with my hens? They share the yard together all day and seem to be getting along fine. she is nine weeks old and has all of her feathers (pekin duck). I just planned to put her in there if she doesn't start climbing the stairs to go to bed at night with the hens. She has always slept inside the house so i am a little nervous about the cold at night so haven't even given her the opportunity to put herself to bed in there. I live in orange, california, so it is relatively warm but my coop has chicken wire on the front doors so there might be a little draft, but i think she would be warm enough in one of the nestholes. Any feedback? thanks!

. Many people keep their ducks with their chickens in the same coop. Besides her mess which I'm sure your already aware of I don't think it'll be a problem

My ducks sleep below the coop... All except one. She comes out with the chickens and sleeps on the coop floor. She likes the chickens better than the ducks for some reason.
