I have a mallard hen that was sitting on some eggs. I knew that she was sitting on them but don't know when she started. She got ran off her nest and won't go back so I put the last surviving egg in the incubator. Now I don't know exactly when it is going to hatch or when to stop turning it. ANY feedback would be appreciated.

Keep turning until it begins pipping. Dont worry about the duckling inside. I f its healthy the turning will just be annoying and slow the hatching process down but wont harm it. Your better turning than not turning the egg. Keep the humidity up and you should be fine.

Also another question about the duck egg. I'm using a Brinsea incubator and at two days before hatching you are suppose to fill the water pot all the way full. I don't know when the two days before hatch is so what do I do now?

Id always have the water pot full for duck eggs all the way through incubation
