Howdy. I promised I searched for an existing answer first.
I am almost done with the new coop for my chickens and ducks. We've had issues with flooding, so it's raised up off the ground, meaning my ducks will have to use a ramp.
My question is: What works well for grips? Right now, I have a ramp to their current coop with a non-slip rubber mat surface that works well.
The problem is that the new coop will be in the afternoon sun more than the old one is. I worry the ramp will get too hot, so I'm looking for alternatives.
