Hi,
I’m new to this site. I cannot figure out the sex of my ducks. They are all 2 mo old (2 Pekin and 2 Swedish blue. I would love some help, so here are the links to the videos of them.

Thank you!

Have you heard any distinct quacking? A female duck quacks where a male makes a raspy sound. Whoever was talking in the first video sounded male to me.

Yes, I have tipped them upside down. And I hear one distinct quack, but it seems like their voices change daily. One was quacking and no longer is and one just started.

There were at least three of the ducks talking in the first video.

In my experience, drakes make a wider variety of sounds, including the occasional weak quack, whereas females have a consistently strong quack. If you have a female, you will be sure. If you aren't sure, then it is a male.

What’s weird is the one that sounds like a clear girl was quiet and had baby peeps until today.

Unfortunately all of this means that we have a 3:1 ratio of males to females and we would have to get rid of at least 1 (which breaks my heart) 😭
