If you are handy with a sewing machine, my mom makes them for my ducks out of beer coozies I trace the foot for size and she puts a Velcro cuff on them. Hers are open on the side with a Velcro closure, it is much easier to get the duckies foot in than the ones I bought . The materials in the mail order ones were more durable, but i like the design better on moms.

I’ve been looking for some, but I can’t seem to find any anywhere. Does anyone know where I could buy some? I have 9 pekin ducks, so it would help if the shoes weren’t costly.

for pekin ducks, i definitely recommend seducktive.com. they sell customizable shoes and also have ready to ship shoes which are made for pekin ducks

Wonderful thread! I really need to order some booties for Honey BooBoo! I've been wrapping her foot since 2020, so it'd be nice to just swap booties out. I would suggest the open toe and it's one reasons my duck does so well with her foot wrapped all the time. She has a lot of air flow. I only wrap her one foot that she's had bumblefoot on. It's healed but now it serves as a preventative

We’re treating bumblefoot now and can’t get the shoes in time so this is what we’re using . They’re for dogs at the pet store and cost 20$ for a 12 pack and come in different sizes. Foot underneath is wrapped etc and we use waterproof tape to stick these to the ankle
