I have a duck who only sits on the eggs when she is locked up in her coop. When I let her out to free range, she follows the drake around. They are best friends and don't like to be separated. How can I get her to stay on the nest when the drake goes out side to free range. Also, I have a chicken who is sitting in the corner and will only get out of it if I take her out. She is trying to hatch some eggs, but they aren't fertilized. She stays on the nest all day, I think, but at the end of the day when I free range everything, she stays off the nest after I put her outside. Any help?
