Duck size comparison

I have 2 call ducklings and I was wondering how they will compare in size to my pekin when they are older. Does anybody have any pics of calls and pekins together? Also, when will my ducklings be full size/full grown?

Your Pekin will end up being much bigger than your Call duck. Call ducks weigh about 500grams (a pound) while Exhibition Pekins can weigh up to 4 kilos (8 pounds). Feed store type Pekins might less, maybe about 3 kilos or 6 pounds. But still much bigger than the Call.

I don't know about Calls but many other types of duck tend to reach close to adult weight at about 9 to 10 weeks of age. They have done most of their growing before then anwyay.

Yup, I know the pekin will be much bigger, I just can't picture how much by knowing weight differences.

Ok, well, imagine that your Call duck is a smallish guinea pig and your Pekin is a largeish cat. That's about the difference.
