Duck skin conditions?

Hello all! I am new to asking questions of this cite but have loved using it for research :) I have 4 female pekins who are all showing signs of what I thought was wet feather (most common pictures and responses I could find relating to my ducks)

For history the 1 Pekin duck is from my original flock, I raised her from egg (hatched 2023) she showed no skin issues until this summer.

I purchased 3 additional Pekin females around 4 months old (early Februar/March 2024) to provide mating relief. The previous owner kept them in terrible conditions as they were malnourished with brown water logged feathers.

I had treated the three girls for wet feather (dawn dish soap, blow dry and no water for 3 weeks) It seemed to improve but once they were introduced back to water, it returned.

My one original female developed a spot on her wing a couple weeks ago so now I’m wondering if it’s more than wet feather and something contagious…as I don’t know how my original female would develop wet feather when no one else in the flock has. I have a flock of 21 birds and don’t need anything spreading.

I have attached pictures of the 3 worse ducks and my females who is starting to show signs. Any information is helpful! All girls are eating and drinking well with no respiratory issues noted

I have 2 males to 4 females, they are quite aggressive so I’ve started separating them after a morning visit…I believe the main Pekin might be nibbled on but the three younger girls came to me like that…I should mention they also have crusty skin which people often said meant wet feather. If she is being nibbled on how long would it typically take to heal so I can track her?

Keep the boys separated. You could try something like Veterycin for wounds and infections or be Banixx most likely they will keep what ever you put on them washed off during the day so be sure to treat them good at bed time so it’s on all night. And look closely at their skin for mites or lice pictures on line. Just to rule that out

I actually have banixx that worked wonders for my boys feet last spring when they were experiencing what I thought was bumble foot (if it was it was very early stages and caught before harm was done) I’ll start using that nightly!
