I have had two ducks since May 31st of 2020 and my female is very obviously a pekin but my male is a type of duck I have never quite been able to identify. I love them both dearly and I am just curious to learn more about him so I can better care for him.
He is predominantly black but he does have a white stomach and some white flight feathers. He does have color shifts to mostly green on his head and some purple on this back feathers. He is much skinnier than my pekin and has much smaller feet. His legs are black but then go to orange when it reaches his feet. He has a black bill and dark eyes.
