Duck starting to get broody?

Hi I have a couple of ducks and one of my Pekin females have started to lay in the same spot which is very odd becuase they usually lay wherever. Is she going to start to be broody? Or is it just that she wants to lay her eggs there. She hasn’t been sitting on it becuase there are currently 2 eggs there.

Perhaps, but not likely as broodiness has been bred out of many Pekin strains. If you want, let her build a clutch and see - if the weather in your area supports that idea.

Yes i have been leaving the eggs there, becuase I would love to have a broody duck or chicken.

but She is the only duck laying becuase that’s the only female I got out of 6 ducks and I have some baby ducklings and soon they will be laying too. So it will take a while for the eggs to build up.
