Hello, recently I had my flock come down with wet feather just about across the board. I've given them all baths with dawn, treated them and their coop with permethrin spray, and put vet rx under their wings for respiratory issues. Today I notice done of my ducks appeared to stumble and fall over when he flapped his wings or lifted one leg. I just bought some b12 and treated that duck with a dropper and isolated him. I put some in the water for the rest of them. I was wondering if anyone might have any idea what this is, I can't seem to find anything about ducks stumbling. Any help would be appreciated I'm just trying to get my flock healthy.

Sorry to hear about your duck.

Could you take a video of him stumbling, upload it to a video platform like Youtube or Vimeo, and copy/paste the link here?

Why did you spray them with permethrin?

I honestly wasn't sure why they all got wet feather so I just started treating all the possible causes I could find. Poor bedding and external parasites (they always have access to water). I honestly haven't seen him doing this since I posted this. He seemed to have a small cut on his foot, possibly caught bumble foot early. So I started treating him for bumble foot and gave him some B12 and he seems to be doing much better.

I am glad your ducks showing improvement - I hope it continues !
This morning I'm noticing it again... I'm thinking maybe splayed legs he does seem to be pointing them inwards a bit. I see a lot of posts about ducklings having splayed legs but this guy is a bit over a year old. I fear it could be a hip injury. I'm really not sure how to check- I felt his hip and leg regions and nothing is apparently wrong but I'm not a vet. I gave him another dose of niacin this morning.
