Duck Stumbling/Off Balance

Did she get better? I am having the same problem with my 2 month old girl. She’s been eating, drinking and pooping without any issues, but her stumbling seems to be getting worse. It’s been 5 days now, I’ve tried everything every one has suggested. There’s no vet around that see ducks.

Do you have her on liquid b complex? If not I’d give it a try? 1 ml daily over a tasty treat so you know she is getting the full dose

I started her on that yesterday and just gave her more, but I only gave 1/2 ml for all 3 of them. Maybe I should try to give just her something else?! The other girls get so excited and I hate leaving them out.

She def needs her own and 1 ml daily. You can give the other two some just give them a separate bowl from the one having the problem. It maybe something else but starting out trying the liquid b complex is a good thing we have to eliminate, hopefully it is a niacin issue the b complex is very good at taking care of it.

I am treating acute severe niacin deficiency in a pekin drake. I find that the Durvet High Level Vitamin B Complex is a little oily and takes time to soak into dried mealworms. So I put a little brewer's yeast in there too and it helps the absorption. Something must smell good as my other ducks try to eat my sick ducks pellets that are covered in brewer's yeast, through the bars of the sick duck hospital pen!

So as @Miss Lydia said, please give your unsteady duck her own food container separate from the other duck's food container

That's adorable, okay! Let me go grab her out of the pool and her more into her. I was able to find a vet that will see her on Thursday.
