i noticed my blue runner duck, pluto, has been acting strange. it was raining for the first time in a while and she normally loves the rain and all the mud, but she was standing still & heaving. i knew something was wrong and started recording and she threw up. could she have eaten something toxic? i already gave her some activated charcoal just in case. shes been walking around with an elongated/stiff neck and she seems skinny. she’s vomited about 5 times already. please help!! this has never happened before and im very nervous

I would bring her inside where you can keep her warm and keep an eye on her. It is very possible that she ate something she shouldn't have.

With her vomiting, my main concern would be keeping her hydrated. I would go out an purchase material for tubing fluids. You may need to do this if she is not drinking.

Here is a link that shows all the supplies for tube feeding. You will need this for tubing fluids. The first part of tube feeding is giving fluids to hydrate.

Here is a thread talking about toxicity in ducks. https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/toxicity-in-ducks-in-progress.1390159/

A vet would likely be the best for this situation. If it is a toxin, they will be the best chance for determining what it is.
