Duck Tongue Sandwich

[Oregon Blues]

One of my ducks was squawking her head off this morning. She was in the pond and couldn't seem to raise her head.

Well, the "pond" is a Rubbermaid storage container. Nothing unsafe in there. I walked over to see what her problem was.

One of the other ducks had gotten a hold of her tongue and was trying to swallow it. Thought it was a worm, I guess, and wasn't going to let go.

Honest to Pete. They can get into more trouble than human toddlers.

That is pretty funny!! I have seen my two peck at eachother faces when they have had things hanging down from eating slugs, but haven't seen that! lol
