Hello fellow duck people!

I've got one quick question. How much is too much mealworms? My ducks have diarrhea without any other symptoms. We probably give them mealworms 4-6 times a day, a couple handfuls. Could this be the reason for the liquid poos?

I'd really only give them a handful a day, too much protein may contribute to angel wing and other problems. Treats shouldn't make up more than 10% of their diet.

Yeah I've been thinking that. Thank you for confirming. Is there a limit on the amount of greens they can consume? That seems like a more healthy option.

I wasn't aware somewhat watery poop is normal. Thank you! I will pump the breaks on the mealworms. It's so hard though! They love em so much!

Also, at what age do you go to twice a day feeding?

I never do 2x a day feeding my flock has food out from the time I let them out in the morning till they go In to bed.

I do the same as @Miss Lydia and neither of us put food or water in the pen when they got to bed at night.
