@duluthralphie i think you’ll enjoy this story... I was at farm and fleet yesterday buying treats for the dux.... when I was checking out the cashier woman asked me what the food was for. I told her it was for all my ducks. She replied by saying “I absolutely don’t like ducks. They have the same effect on me as a spider. They’re absolutely revolting and sickening!” I was stunned by this answer because the dux are so adorable! She said she’s actually scared of them too! She’s unafraid of guineas or chickens but doesn’t like ducks.

I’ve never seen mine eat a slug either but they sure love to crunch on junebugs!

Mine seem to like small slugs when they come in that spiral crispy coating but on touching them unshelled they flick their heads in disgust and move on!

Hello duck tv watchers! I’m back, and it’s been a while! I’ve had a lot going on and I’ve neglected my duck tv thread! I bet @duluthralphie was overjoyed at the lack of adorable duck videos. Here’s today’s video. I decided to get kiddy pools for the ducks since they won’t venture into my above ground pool. I filled them all up and the ducks decided they’d rather swim in the lid to the pool... it was quite funny but I was disappointed... As long as they don’t go in another tropical oasis to the neighbors pool oasis then they can continue to swim in a lid all they want...

I can’t upload a video but here’s a picture of what I have been watching! 16 ducklings swimming in the backyard they have the yard all to them self! I did have 30 or up ducklings this year and sold some this is the remaining except the 5 maybe 6 I’m keeping!!

Thanks so much! Your ducks are certainly adorable as well! Wow! 30!?! I’d certainly love to have that many at a time! I bet you have lots of fun with them. What breed are they? I’d like to sell ducklings but I know I’d get too attached and keep them all! Good luck with them!

Thank you!They are Indian Runners and Ancona mixes! I’m trying to sell them before I get to attached!
