A while ago i posted a picture of my duckling with what looked like a growth on his neck but now that he’s gotten older you can tell what happened now... meet crooked neck (that’s what i call him), can someone tell me what to do i feel like he’s suffering but he acts fine but i feel like he’s not and he has this bald spot on one side where feather won’t grow. I just need some help or insight

@learycow had a duckling that hatched like this one.

If he is acting like a duck eating good drinking mingling with the rest why not just let him be a duck. You'll know when he gives up. No one is pulling out his feathers on that side are they?

of course i’m not gonna put him down for no reason i just didn’t know if someone else has had this before, and no i don’t believe so i think it might be becasue that’s the only way his neck can go and he can pick at

Maybe so, bless his heart. Hopefully leary cow will be here later and can answer any questions you have. How do the rest of the ducks treat him?

basically just like the ugly duckling, they don’t pick on him at all but he likes to be lonely but they’ll all lay together
