Hazel does that too. Sometimes I bring her inside to help me do my homework and when she gets flighty I put her back.

Ducks are ok. I don’t hate them. Quail are awesome, cute, and fun. But muscovies are the sweetest, smartest, most loving beautiful-uglies in the world. I had one for years who was better than any dog, goose, chicken or quail.
