Duck wearing diaper

Hello all,
What I would like to know is how often should a duck be in a diaper? Asking because I have been bringing my pekin drake inside overnights since he was a duckling. I have been using puppy pads since then and I have a diaper for him but wasn't sure if it would be safe for him to wear overnights. There are no sharp edges, I am just wondering for his safety and health.

Morning! I would assume if the poop isn't sticking to his little butt he should be fine over night. I purchased a chicken diaper just recently, but have not used it yet. Best of luck!

I wouldn't over night and just keep using the puppy pads. The possibility of them sitting in a huge pile of poo for hours and maybe getting an infection scares me.

X2, I would only use the diaper when having to carry him over where there are no puppy pads etc.

Your biggest thing to make sure there's no metal or something he could eat or choke on. Also, he'll probably resist the diaper at first because it'll be weird for him.
