Duck with Botulism ?? PLEASE HELP !

Last night I had one of my pekin ducks go paralyzed and died. Now number two is showing symptoms. I force fed it a 1/2 cup of water with a teaspoon and a half of Epsom salt with some electrolytes. What should I do?? is it botulism?

Botulism is very common in ducks. Death can occur because the breathing muscles are paralysed from the botulinum toxin found in decaying fish, animals, vegetaion, and maggots near those. I would look around for any carcasses, and keep your other ducks from that area. Sorry for your loss.
