Duck with broken/injured leg

Hi. One of my young female ducks has hurt her leg. Is there a step by step guide of how to splint or treat it? Her family group are very protective of her and I struggle to get them to leave the house in the morning. I have been keeping her in there to give her time to recuperate. The other ducks attack her if I let her out. She is getting stronger each day and learning to get around but I want to help so she can get back out.

Can you take her to a vet?

If not, you need to bring her inside, and set her in a soft padded cage with feed and water.

After she has time to rest for a bit, could you gently, but quickly pick her up and try to locate where/if the fracture occurred specifically?

It's very important you do, because how you treat fractures depends on where the break is.
