I have a pekin with an infected

toenail. Been to the vet and prescribed a doxy suspension, then enrofloxacin. With that, the new antibiotic has just ran out. It started as an impounded toenail, turned infection. Probably close to a month into the different antibiotics. Been soaking in epsom salt and betadine for 15 mins every night. Being fed mazuri for a long time with greens/tomatos/ peas/ green beans. Gets to swim every night. Has looked both better and worse in the situation. Contacted vet again today for possibly a 3rd visit or plan. No green in poop in a while

Poor duck, that looks painful. is there some debris left inside the wound? Or is it a bacterie which is not touched by the antibiotics used? there is a growing problem with anti-biotics resistance
Is it possible to test what causes the infection before giving a new antibiotic?
