Duck with injured eye

Duckitup was given SMZ/TMP for her duck's eye infection, but I'm not sure what the dose was.

I think that was partially because the duck had already lost eye sight in that eye and that root of the problem was more serious. That duck had worms, coccidiosis and pneumonia. Hard to say if the pneumonia was from syringe feeding or if it had been there all along. I suspect it had been there from the start.

Treatment with Baytril, Corid and Safeguard were needed. Last I heard was that he was looking better.

Three separate meds to tackle the full spectrum. That'll do it.

I think the most common dose is about 25mg per pound every 12 hours. How much does she weigh?

So 1.9 x 50mg (50mg/kg) = 95mg twice a day. Maybe you could try 1/4 tablet twice a day?
