Duck with messed up leg

okay so I save this little duck a couple days ago, I can tell it's not that young but it's leg is really messed up. we were out in my neighborhood when I saw a punch of baby ducks and a mom laying on her nests they were in front of someone house the baby's came up to me and I started to feed them when I realized all the baby's kinda had a weird walk and so did the mom after that this little guy comes from the back trying to get some food but couldn't walk I can tell he hasn't had water or food in a while bc he couldn't walk like the other ducks so I took him in (i have ducks and chickens already) but I never seen a baby duck have a problem like this. So far I can't find anything wrong with him. So far nothing but I was wondering bc the mom has a Messed up leg And so did the baby's but this little guy had it really bad can it be a problem bc of the mom?
