Duck with Swollen foot

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me figure out what is wrong with my duck's foot. I saw her limping around yesterday and standing on one foot so I pulled her out at bedtime to take a look. The middle toe on her right foot was very swollen and hot. There was no obvious injury or scab on that foot so I don't think it is bumblefoot but I'm not sure. My friend who has chickens thinks the toe might be broken but I don't know about that. Photos of injured and uninjured foot below.

I soaked in Epsom salt solution for about 15 minutes last night and will again tonight. If I have to cut it open it will have to wait until Friday evening. If I do have to cut it open and drain it what do you all recommend I use to clean and bandage after and where might I find such supplies?

Looks like a broken toe....Cool water soaks...Limit free range time...

Could she have stepped on a bee? Hornet etc. Looks like there is a small hole like maybe where a stinger could have been Looking down from the toe go down almost to the end. If she has gotten stung by something I would keep up the warm ES soaks. Don't let her drink the solution though it's also a laxative.

Another possibility is a splinter. Romy had one, it caused heat and swelling.
