One of my Blue Indian Runner ducks started limping and hobbling around trying to keep up with her gal pals. After I caught her I noticed how swollen her foot is. I don’t see the tell-tell sign of the black scab indicating bumblefoot, but there are two small scabs on the bottom of her foot. She can barely put any pressure on the foot.
Yesterday I gave her a warm Epsom salt water soak, applied Prid, and wrapped her foot. I’ll be doing that again tonight. She’s isolated in a kennel with dry bedding. She doesn’t seem to be eating or drinking much.
Does this look like bumblefoot? Or perhaps something else? I’m guessing that to know for sure I’d need a vet, but maybe others with more experience can share their opinions and suggestions.
