duck with vaguely strange behavior -- any thoughts?

I haven't done a syringe as I'm a bit scared I could shoot it into her lungs? But I can definitely try.

Look at the diagram have someone hold her I get my dh to hold and I open the bill and put the syringe into the hole going into the crop. Not sure you can do it on your own. Make the feed as soupy as possible or it will get stuck in the syringe.

Unfortunately sweet sunny died this afternoon, as I somewhat expected would happen. I feel good knowing that we did the best we could.
