duck with vaguely strange behavior -- any thoughts?

If it's worms it could make sense that it is just her. She is the most adventurous with her diet and is the smallest.

Vet is sending us the X-rays and I'll try to share just for anyone interested in what a duck X-ray looks like! Took one of the feet too. Vague bumblefoot (likely just blisters) but she said it seemed to small to cause such a large issue.

A lot of the worms that affect ducks the most are carried by slugs, earthworms and snails...

Would love to see the x-ray pics... bet @casportpony would be interested too!

You're doing great for her... :hugs
:fl for her...

Oh yes this girl definitely would eat a slug or worm if she got her lil mouth anywhere near it. I once caught her jumping in the air to catch a dragonfly. Girl does her job as a runner at least! Definite possibility but will wait on the fecal.

Here she is in better days. Her partner in crime Sprout the chocolate runner and Sunny the fawn.

The next adventure is getting poor duck to actually take her medications given. They are oral which is tricky for a duck that isn't eating much.

Pill or liquid?

Both! Antibiotic is small pill, pain med is liquid.

To dose just now, crushed pill as much as possible, mixed with oatmeal and water to create a slop. She ate most of it! Mashed some tomato and put liquid med on top -- less successful, took small nibble only.
