Ducks will not over eat, so giving them the correct feed 24-7, you will not have any issues.

I'm sorry for your loss How long ago did she pass? It can take a duck a couple of days to start eating after the loss of a close friend. If it's been longer than a couple of days without her eating then I would recommend purchasing some feeding tube supplies.
