Duck wormer

Eroc1_1

That's going to depend on the size of the pond, the health of the geese, and the health of the ducks. I would watch for any sign of lethargy, weight loss, chronic coughing or head shaking. I suspect that most of the time there will be no problems if the environment and the waterfowl are generally healthy.

VOX,

If you have raised yours indoors I don't see how they could have worms.

I have had my runners for 13 months and have not given them worm medicine. They look good, act normal (for runners), lay eggs, eat, drink, poop and play. The vet said that the two I brought in for a check up (long story) look great.

Thanks, Amiga. The Canadian Geese are definitely healthy! The pond is probably 1+ acres. I have yet to let our ducks roam into the pond or around the yard where they eat and poop. I want to wait another 3-4 weeks or so. But I will keep an eye on their behavior.

yes but preventing it and doseing every month, 2 months or 4 months will make the duck immune to it and it wont kill the worms in the end.
