SafeGuard Goat Dewormer is safe for poultry. That's what I use on my birds. You can buy it at your local Tractor Supply and most likely your local feed store. You can either use a syringe and squirt it down your birds' throats or put it in their drinking water. This takes care of gapeworms, which is what it sounds like your ducks have. I have the dosage if you would like it and their is a 14 day withdrawal period for eggs.

The dosage is 4 cc (ml) per gallon of drinking water. The dosage for orally (straight from the bottle-not diluted) would be about 1/4 cc for your duck. I'm guessing it would be safe for your younger duck and I've heard that SafeGuard is very safe and is pretty hard to HIGHLY overdose poultry on. The bottles of SafeGuard at TSC usually run around $20.

Sorry that I left that part out! If your doing 4cc/gallon (in drinking water) you would mix a new solution of wormer and water for 3 days. If you are giving the ducks their wormer orally (with syringe), you would give 1/4cc and then 10 days later redose. Which way are you planning on doing? The oral syringe way is more effective.

I'm thinking orally it's jut simpler n faster. I change his ware 4-5 times a day, and he sometimes drinks from the dog bowl lol. I know how to pill a cat... How do I liquid a ducklin lol
