ducka with chickens

Can these be raised together? I would like to raise some ducks to help "clean up" the garden when I put it to bed this fall. Do they have to have a seperate space? What about feed, can they eat the same as long as its not medicated?

We have ducks & chickens living together in the same coop even! They all eat the same food, and my ducks even steal my chicken eggs & hatch em! lol
