bleenie, i'm convinced it has to do with sun. they didn't see the sun for the first 7 months of their lives. quackers rarely sees the sun because she is always sitting on a nest in her ducky house. my younger female (her daughter) has more crauncling than her!! i will have to take pics. what a cool non-intential experiment.
