It takes time. My mama duck right now is a dingbat, she's never been the friendliest but we got her at 6/7mths totally not tame, so that doesn't help. We have others who are much more friendly but then they have been raised here from the start.

I will say though, if i bring out romaine.. everyone loves me then!

So question guys, I've got 4 mallards and 4 pekin, all growing like weeds, but one pekin is waaaaay lighter than the other 3, and a little smaller. Any thoughts on why?

Hmmm I don't know much about that breed. Did you maybe get a mix of some sort? Or maybe the lighter color is just in his blood line.
