Ducking growth ! I will be posting pictures every so often :)

Well 2 out of the 5 ducklings are friendly and trust us. Rascal and pink mallard- rascal follows me around and relaxed on my lap. Pink went on my boyfriends lap and just loved him whistling. Would it better for them to have two out at a time? Maybe one that likes us and then one that isn't so sure?

Well the ducks have become too big for their 50 gal bin from walmart and are only 2 weeks (khaki 3 weeks monday) how long will this one last? haha so now I am using a x-pen I bought for my dogs and just covered it with chicken wire, I am using a tarp on the bottom and tied it up around the sides. and then put the usual pine shavings down. here is a picture of them enjoying the new enclosure, they love running around now !

They are settled in and getting along just fine now :) think I might have to up the temp they are cuddled together undewr the light...guess since it's more open it gets colder.

I bet they are enjoying themselves so much room to play in, now if you have any green grass right now[we don't] you can go out with a shovel and dig up a clump and bring it in they will love it and it will help them get use to whats out side bedore they ever go out, I usually replace the clump every couple days. as far as temps, you may have to tweek it some since it's more open. They're adorable.
