Ducking stink

Boy, I knew ducklings stunk, but not this much!!! I clean their large brooder everyday, and everyday I clean it its rank!!!! And their waterer it stink like nasty old pond water every morning! Is that their food that makes the whole thing stink so badly? I only have 3 ducklings in a pretty big brooder, I thought that would keep smell down, NOT! lol

Do they get lots of stuff in their water? I keep my chicks food and water on a plywood board.

It look pretty clean.....maybe it's their food. I never had a stink problem before.

Clean the place where you kept them. Replace the dry grass with new one. Make sure the place dont get wet. This will help you.

Let them swim in a tub , their feathers might be dirty; so they can clean their feathers by their own. But keep watching them because their feathers doesnt produce waterproofing oil. Stay close while they are swiming

I try to let them swim everyday. I hear it helps their oil glands to start working and encouraged preening.
