ducklin out and finally unattached

The cord must have finally dried out and the rest of the shell fell off last night but he seems to be having a hard time getting on his feet, I moved him outside in the pen with the mother figureing hearing her he would get up and get with the rest of the ducklings but nothing, I have brought him back inside, so how long till he is able to stand and what the nexy step? .
