Hello so I have a idian runner duckling (probably about a week old?) And she's been having issues with morning almost like she's chocking/having a hard time swallowing. She can breathe but often is struggling, she'll be acting normal, peeping and drinking and just looking at me and them will start acting like how she is in the video.

I tried looking online since I'm new to ducks and the last ones I got were about 3-4 weeks old. But online it said to message the crop/neck area, give access to water but not food and watch. I'm new to ducks so any help on what I can do would be helpful i also live in an area with no poultry/waterfowl vets so that's not an option

Please post you video elsewhere [you tube or another platform] and give us the link so we can see it.

If you are restricting access to food, it is better to offer rehydration solution than plain water. Rehydration solution is available in bottles from pharmacies. Pr rehydration salts in sachets are also available. Follow the instructions on the sachets for dissolving and making rehydration solutionl

I'm working on uploading it will link it when it uploads.

I separated her for about two hours with only water and watched her she started acting more playful and running about so I gave her some food at a very little amount and she was eating alright and seems to be normal again and pooping and everything I put her back with the others and have still been watching her I think she just got a little greedy and ate a bit to quickly this morning
