Like two feet my brother in law was holding it and it started moving around it fell out of his hands

You should probably take it into a vet. Ducks are hardy, but they are far more fragile when they are young. It is possible it broke a leg if it is not moving. I would keep the food and water next to the duck as long it is still eating. If it gets too low in proper nutrients it could become more serious. I am sorry it is not doing well.
