I got back from being out of town to one of our ducklings completely abused by our male duck. Unfortunately our other duckling died because of his attacks and this leaves our hurt one alone. I put her in a Luke warm bath and she seems to be okay for the most part she swims around cleaning herself but her injuries worry me. Theres feathers missing on her back ( where some grew ) and fluff missing leaving her semi bare back aswell as a small peck wound on her head where there is some blood and loss of skin. She has a fit when I'm out of her sight aswell ( not her normal she usually likes just being in bath alone ). Does anyone know what I should do about the head wound and bare back? Also tips on how to make sure she wont be lonely without our other duckling? We wont have another duckling or chick for another month or so and dont have resources to buy her a friend right now. Anything helps thank you guys <3

Integration can be difficult
yea I might wait to put her back with the rest till she's a bit bigger and fully recovered. I have a theory that our drake attacked her because she was still young enough to be considered a duckling to him rather than a partner and knew she wasn't his child so took her as a threat to his territory in the coop.
