duckling back not fluffing up

Hi so my 4-day old black east indie has a small patch on her back that hasn't fluffed up. I'm not sure why and I was thinking once she starts swimming and gets wet that it'd fluff up once she dries off but just in case I'm posting it here.

Hard to tell from pics. Are the feathers stuck down or missing? When I have had this, I used a soft tooth brush and warm water to get gunk off. It sometimes takes several treatments. Make sure to dry if off after.

They're stuck down. I'll try that though!

So I'm trying the tooth brush thing but some of her down that was stuck down already fell off so shes got.. a bit of a bald spot so I'll just have to make sure shes extra warm after baths. I'm not too worried since its just her down and when she molts her feathers will grow there. Is there anything I need to do to make sure her skin stays healthy there?
