Duckling bald spot

Hello everyone,

I noticed that one of my ducklings has a bald spot on his chest. His about 3 weeks old. He has been scratching it here and there and the feathers falling off easily. Is this normal? Please help!

hes getting feathers and it itches. The feathers come in on their chests first. This looks normal and part of growing up. If you see actual skin come back.

No worries, such a cute blue swedish. He is also reaching axe murderer stage. When they start getting feathers sometimes over night instead of being the happy greeted treat giver, you become the scariest thing ever. This is also normal.

Thankfully still not there but I will keep that in mind when it does come ..
