Bald and scaly belly

As I was cleaning out my ducklings enclosure (bathtub) I was moving them out one at a time and spending a moment petting them, and noticed that my Pekin duckling has a bald spot that feels scaly and irritated on his belly. I had noticed that he has been picking at his belly but they all do that and I thought it was part of grooming himself. What’s going on?

How old is the duckling? Can you post a photo?
