Duckling bedding - what absorbs good?

To update on this: I ended up putting their water bowl (a heavy ceramic bowl that they can’t knock over) in a lid. The lid used to go to a small plastic box, maybe sweater box sized, and it seems the perfect size to contain most of the water they slosh out! Although they still track water some as they love to step in the bowl/lid, lol.

I just bought the pet parents reusable puppy pads from Chewy (thanks, @fatty and friends !) and they’re great! I've been using coroplast for a while with nothing on top of it because they weren't slipping on it and at least coroplast is easy to wipe down. But it still needed wiping a LOT.

So the puppy pads are amazing! I never would’ve thought of using those.
Note: I wouldn't want to use bare coroplast with very young ducklings as it could risk splayed legs and would be uncomfortable if they were slipping. That's another reason reusable puppy pads are good to use.
