Hi, I’m probably just an over concerned new duck owner, but wanted to get others opinions. My duckling has seemed to be breathing a little heavier than normal for the past few hours. It’s mouth isn’t open all the time but every now and then. Just seems like it’s body is shaking a lot. Is this something to worry about?

I’m not sure the exact temperature, but they have water to cool off in and it’s warm right under the light but cool in other areas. And just seems to be the one duck.

I think you need a bigger brooder, so they easily move away from the heat as needed. The way you have it set up now doesn't allow them to do that. 1. Cause of panting with ducklings is excessive heat on these forums.
