Just got these ducklings Saturday from the feed store. They do get blue swedish, but the ducklings were all together and they did not know which was which. I picked out the two I thought were black or blue swedish, and the additional one in the front of the photo, because it looked similar. Any votes on breed? And are the others black or blue?
I posted this same question in the duck section, but only got one answer, confirming that the two light breasted ones are black swedish, but nothing on the "odd duck" with the lighter head.

Thanks!

The one that is mostly brown looks like a khaki campbell. None of them look swedish to me.

Well, of course I hope xchickenpetx is right, I would love to have a splash. I'm familiar with the genetics, and would like some later little blue ducklings.
I was wondering Magpie as well on the odd one, which would be OK - yours are cute, Jeeper, but all one breed would be great, if I have at least one Drake. I did not think hatcheries had Magpie, but I would be happy with it if so.

The photo is a little misleading on the one that looks mostly brown - the breast is the same color as the others just below the grayish part - there were a lot of lighter brown ones in the tub when I bought them that I thought might be Khaki campbell, which I did not want, so I hope you are wrong, hinkjc. These are really my husband's ducks, and he wanted fancier colors and patterns. I'm just glad no one thought the odd duck was a mallard - he was really insistant that he did not want one.

Well, they are cute regardless - thanks for all the feedback, I will post again in a month and we will see who is the frontrunner (I guess that will be long enough?)

We picked up the last two ducklings and they look like the Khaki Campbells to us. Great layers and are terrific for kids.
