Duckling broke his leg :-( Please Help

I’m using a syringe to give it water, I’m not sure what I can feed it though, any ideas ?

You can get some Kaytee Exact baby bird food from Petsmart or Petco.

Sadly my little duckling was put down today. I did manage to find a vet that didn’t want my arm or legs as payment.

It seem the break was worse than I thought and there was nerve damage such that both the foot and the duckling would have deteriorated.

This is very sad for me as he was it was one of my first clutch ducklings.

I'd use a basket to take the ducklings in and out those little things can get away from us so fast. So sad for you.

Thank you. I will be using a cat carrier now, for moving them. Thanks for your support and help.

That's too bad..I put mine in a 5 gallon pail to transport from Brooder to outside.
