Is there a sticky on brooding ducklings that I'm having trouble finding? I know they need unmedicated crumbles. I'm not sure if the temp is the same? Start at 95 and down by 5 degrees each week? How long do they stay in the incubator until they come out. I have one duckling out now and one egg that is still alive. I'm not sure how long to keep the little hatchling in there or if he/she should be in the brooder. It's probably going to be at least 24 more hours till that last egg is done, I would guess.

I feed Start & Grow Medicated Crumbles feed, I've been told that medicated is fine. The babies usually stay in the incubator till the hatch is complete & they dry and fluff. The thing is you really dont want to open the incubator if you have any eggs that have pip due to the humidity dropping. I have done it both ways. First time I took baby out of bator "REAL FAST" because it was so active/moving around on top of unhatched eggs I thought it was going to get burned on the heating elliments second time i left them in till hatch was done & they were dried. yes when in brooder drop temp 5 each week. Good luck & Congrats on the Babies, ~Julie~

I have all the same questions.....is the procedure the same as the chickens? Seems like the ducking are getting bigger faster than the chickens but not getting the big duck feathers as fast....
