Around 3am 05-05 hatched... That one hadn't started unzipping at all when I went to bed.

5:20 am 05-01 hatched (I mustn't have been wearing my glasses when I put them in there, because I thought that was 05-07)

That last one is having some trouble unfolding himself and is rolling all over the place.

I KNOW! I had one last year when the brooder was right near the computer.. but I've had to move things around a bunch this year and the brooder is in the next room over.

UPDATES: I was watching the feed at work when I started to think that one of the ducks wasn't moving much anymore. I went home on my lunch and found it dead in shell, ready to hatch w/ yolk fully formed.

Not wanting to risk losing another, I assisted the other one that was ready to hatch. That one was in the same state as the first, except, you know.. alive.

I ate some food and decided to assist the last pipped duckling before I went back to the office. It was just a little too soon, but I think it'll be okay.

Both of them are napping in the 'bator now, and I'm watching them from my office.

I moved the two that hatched overnight to the brooder to be with Bevis and the others.

I've disconnected the live feed for now, but trying to find a way to make the brooder cam happen again.
