Duckling can’t walk

Help! My roeun duckling suddenly can’t walk. Seems unstable, falls over on her back and can’t get up. She was completely fine yesterday. She just lays down now so she doesn’t have to try to move with the others.

Believe she has a niacin deficiency. Got high level vitamin b complex and she is already doing better. I will keep this updated just in case anything else changes

How old? Sometimes neurological problems come out in ducklings. I had two with seizures.

I found another thread on this issue. niacin deficiency. I just purchased high level vitamin b complex and syringed her the recommended dosage for ducklings and she was walking better within 30 minutes. I got her last week

Some feed doesn't have lots of vitamin b. You can add brewers yeast to their feed or naicin. You can also provide vitamin water to them. I think some people at naicin to the water as well. There are multiple ways you can go about increasing it easily for all the ducklings

Where did you get your vitamin B? I've got a 5 day old chick who seems to have weak legs so I want to get some vitamins for her. I'm giving them chick starter feed with nutritional yeast added in for the niacin boost. Maybe that's not enough though. Is there a certain electrolyte drink just for poultry that you know of? Or can I just give them pedialyte?

I got it from tractor supply. It's vitamin b complex and has a cow on the bottle. But I would give your chick something like rooster booster to get all vitamins!
